The Sorry state of Indian Politics

Eyes of the whole world was directed towards India on 22nd July when the UPA government was about to prove their majority in the Lok Sabha. The US government was specially interested in the process since it was very important for the nuclear deal. But the incidents that took place on the D-Day and few days early really shocked the entire nation. First of all few MPs jailed on the charge of serious crime were released on bail jut to vote for the government. Ministers of smaller parties got a golden chance to get their demands fulfilled. Shibu Soren Of JMM got his ministerial berth back and the chair of deputy CM for his son. Ajit Singh got his long pending demand of rechristening the name of an airport on his father Ch. Charan Singh names. Although he later switched his side. And the most shocking of all was the minister flashing one crores of rupees in Lok sabha. The ministers claimed that they were offered this money by SP leader Amar Singh in order to abstain from voting. This case is under investigation but we all know that the true story behind this, like many other different scandals, would never be known to the common man. At last the UPA government got a new lease of life. They were recovered from ICU but that's only for next 7-8 months. This no-confidence motion was on a trailer of the big flick i.e The general election due early next year. Friend gear up to watch Indian democracy lying on its knee in the coming carnival.
